: I have a small propane stove that runs off the same bottle I use
: for the BBQ. It heats my workshop very quickly, doesn't set off
: the CO detector, and doesn't make much of a smell. I expected it
: to cause condensation but I haven't noticed any. I used to use
: tiny 5W nightlight in the tools cupboard to prevent rust, but I
: found it wasn't necessary.

: I am fortunate because my workshop is insulated, so once warmed a
: small electric heater on its low setting keeps it warm
: indefinitely except on a windy and bitterly cold night, when the
: high setting is needed.

My 30 X 60 shop insulated with straw bales is heated with a double barrel wood stove....
