Hi Etienne,
Just back from a few days in the mountains, far from sharks and the like.
Several years ago I met a guy sailing his kayak along the north coast of Tasmania. He was on the beach and looking white.
I asked him how he was and all he did was point to his new kevlar carbon kayak..
I rolled it over to see and it had teeth marks on both sides of the hull.
He was hit from below in murky water, liftes several feet from the sea, and then fell back.
He kept upright but never even saw what hit him, but it was big.
It happens.
