I would buy the book it is the bible of strip boat building and you should have it regardless. If your boat is a great auk the book does have all the offsets in it including the cockpit shape offsets and the location. I would think that maybe you should email nick schade the owner of guillemot kayaks and the CEO of this fantastic forum, and maybe he can help you make sure your boat is one of is designs. I don't think you will need plans from where your boat is at but the book yes.
