I kind of wondered if the tacky surface would make a difference. I can't imagine as drag in the water it makes an even minimal difference I can see it hanging up on rocks and logs a bit more.
Luckily I have a couple more weeks to decide. Hopefully someone that has tried it will chime in as well.
