Be sure to make the tow connection quick release. Never know when you might need to jettison the towed kayak.
Also, take care that the rope won't get caught up in your paddles.
You might also want to practice rolling the double with one paddler disabled. Never know what that broken foot might do to a roll. The back paddler might end up doing all the work as shown here.
