I have used my set-up only three times so I am hardly an expert (still a pert, I guess). But I have yet to need a trap, as the breather layer has caught all the resin before it gets to the vacuum line. I have some 4" schedule 40 pipe, end caps, and barbs all ready, but have not assembled it yet. I'll try to post some photos tonight.
