Greetings everyone .

I most likely will be moving to CT in early August. Â I'm originally from there and will be returning home.

I'm interested in finding out good areas in CT and RI to explore.   I built a  Shearwater Hybrid and have only had it in lakes about a dozen times.  While building my boat I've dreamed of paddling around Mystic Seaport, Watch Hill, and on the CT River.

Can anyone recommend cool places to check out? I'm also looking for good resources like books, Internet sites, and clubs in these areas. Â I'm particularly interested in learning about good areas to go and where I can park. Â Safety and ocean kayaking classes would be good as well.

Thank you,
Mike
