Tools: Home made Riving Knife review

As I said, I modified the blade guard that came with my saw (which I never used)
by cutting off the part that held the plastic guards to make a (reversed) shark fin
shape riving knife. Don't try this if you don't know exactly what you're doing.

Hey, it works great! I really like it, I used to have the ends of my strips get clipped
by the blade as they left the back of the saw, but no more.

After seeing that video and putting my riving knife in place I feel a lot safer.

I'd recommend getting one if you can't make one for yourself, I think it's a big
increase in safety!
