Here is a tip that may help you out until you find a permanent solution. With the skirt dry, and you are not in the boat, place the skirt up side down install over the coaming. Smear silicone seal and inch or more from the outer edge and let it cure. This area will contact the coaming rim when in use and will have more grip.
