I am doing an internal stem out of balsa. It just happened I had a lot of it on hand. It is light and serves the purpose well. I think I am going to use it from now on for internal stems.

I will look at Nick's site and see what he says. He wrote the book, literally, but I am going to be hard to convince that end pours do not add weight. Not being negative here, but I just can't see it. I can see "it doesn't add MUCH weight." I actually like end pours for structure but they definately add weight.
