That's what I thought at first (checking my tool shelf) but I knew I hadn't bought it at PrincessAuto.
It's actually a DESA Powerfast 34392 stapler. Made in Taiwan.(Model# barely visible under caked glue/epoxy residue.)
Powerfast is still on the market, making manual staplers/cable tackers, apparently.
Except for the 12" power cord, it's a good tool.

My 'looks like new' stapler that's in the garbage can right now is a Stanley TRE 500 'Sharpshooter' - it's now trying to drive two staples at a time (or is it two staples in a quick burst, one atop the other?) so completely useless and a waste of $$ from the get-go, since it wouldn't drive staples deep even when it did work for a short time.
