having a look at the Black Skimmers dimensions, it is actualy longer and narrower than what we call a surfski here in Oz and very similar to an entry level ocean ski such as an epic V10sport or Fenn xt. It is therefore feasable that speeds would be similar in certain conditions.

Faster than a 21ft elite ski in the open ocean conditions that an ocean ski is designed for. I,d like to see that.
