I read Don's book, Paddle to the Amazon, it's a great read. I have also read Victoria Jason's book, Kabloona in the Yellow Kayak...also a great read. I am saddened to hear that a legend has passed on. My heart goes out to his family. Victoria died many years ago, they were both part of the original team when Don tried to make his first run through the Northwest Passage. Don didn't make it, Vic did, hence her book. They both had courage, Victoria had more sense. Both respected folks.
