As a graphic designer I did brochures at one time for a shipbuilder and over the years I got to know the personal very well.
(No names or location mentioned) They made a mid-size commercial passenger ship and had the grand launching that is always used and the boat slips into the water and is slightly leaning to one side. OOOPS! They told the client all this crap about engines and piping not being fully installed. They opened a bulkhead and filled one side with tons on concrete - problem solved! Ballast works.
