If you watch the process then see the final product, you're left with only one conclusion. Dan knocks it out of the park every build, then continues to hit it farther up into the seats. Perhaps the skills built over time building fine quality furniture and musical instruments is the reason for something almost too pretty to paddle.

I can't imagine having something looking so nice and feeling oyster shells making that first scar in the hull. Then, since I will be building mine, I won't be feeling it down to my core.

Perhaps you could call your new site: "Dan's Kayaks to Pretty to Paddle" :)
