: If you cut all the forms out, I would use them. More inaccuracies
: are done making strippers with unequal space between forms and
: not having them perfectly centered and level than minor
: inaccuracies in the cutting. If you have eyesight problems, and
: have the plywood bought, pay a kid to cut them out for you. They
: would be happy to make a few bucks. Ideally you want to cut just
: outside the line. Newfound Woodworks can furnish them if that's
: what you ultimately want.

Hello Jay,
Thanks for taking the time. What you're saying gives me some relief. What I'll do is re-cut the forms that are really looking "off" then go for it.
I'm using the same strongback I used for the Panache which I just finished. I went shopping for the "T-beam" material and the 2x4 and 2x6 sells by the ft.
and found it more expensive than the plywood built strongback. Luckily for me, when I built my strongback 12 years ago I made 2 (I was suffering from ambition).
Now that I've completed my first kayak, I've learned enough to embark on a double build. (O.I. and the Wee Lassie) . If the builds take the same amount of time I should be 96 years old when I finish.
I'll bet Rob Macks is happy that I've finished the Panache. I've been harassing Rob for 12 years with novice questions. You won't have to worry too much, most of my novice questions have been ironed out.
I''ve been the source of ridicule in my family for 12 years. I've got the last laugh..... My family was speechless when I showed them my completed kayak. It's not the most beautiful but I BUILT IT.

Thanks and have a wonderful day.
Douglas
