: Hi Folks.

: This dispute regards the Firestar.

: Well I just heard about this and the drawings I received from Rob
: Mack`s are indeed off. My drawings are the original in 2002.
: Station /10 &11 are not symetrical in the drawings.
: All the best.

I've worked with other professional builders and home builders for more than 20 years now.
I don't think there is a finer group of people to be found.

We share a love of building and sharing ideas.

I've never had a check bounce, or harsh words from a customer.
I've never talked to another business owner who can claim that.

I will do my best to make things right by my customers.

Peter called me the other day, we talked about his issue with the two Fire Star stations. I told him I would take his statement seriously, that the #10 & #11 forms of my Fire Star plans were not symmetrical. These two stations are nested, on a section of the drawings, separate from the rest of the stations.

I told Peter I could have made a mistake, everyone makes mistakes, and that I would look into it.

I design kayak lines in Adobe Illustrator. I shape one half of the stations on the centerline and then use the "mirror tool" to make the complete forms.

I checked my computer files. The stations were symmetrical.

I took two of my Fire Star plans drawings with stations #10 & #11 and held them to a window with one drawing reversed, so you could see both sets of station lines on top of each other, with station numbers reversed on one side. I took a photo and sent it to Peter.

I thought, Peter is not going to believe me. He'll think I changed it.

I thought about it. Did I change them? Did I forget about it?

No. I would remember if I did.

To make sure, I checked back through all my Fire Star files and found the earliest version from 2001. If I had made a change this file would be different. It was not.

It was symmetrical.

I don't know if something happened to the paper forms Peter worked from.

Is it possible there was a printing glitch to deform the stations?

It's a mystery.

All the best,
Rob
