True but this was a while back and I didn'y know anything about hydrofoil profiles so my one was a slab of cheap plywood with not much volume; it still worked. I built some proper foils with little ama floats on top to see if the hydrostatic buoyancy was useful but I never tested them - they must be several layers deep in my workshop by now!
