When you're initially cutting the strips, instead of cutting them square to the board, angle the cut 3 degrees, you end up with parallelogram, then lay the strips down and cut the proper angle on the 2nd. side. The first strip cut will be waste, basically a very thin triangle, but each other strip cut will have a 3 degree angle on both ends, but one faces the wrong way.
