I absolutely love the Petrel, but found it difficult to build, more so for me maybe, as I lowered the deck to fit me better. In some spots, I just added enough strips to cover the area, then planed off what I didn't need. In this shot, pieces were added above the height of the deck and then later the area was planed down. I also looked at Nick's and noticed several interesting shaped pieces.
