What approach do you-all use to go around a chine edge that is nearly 90 degrees in the Petrel? It looks like making a bevel at the strip edge will be better than using my cove/bead edges. At one form the strip is wide enough that it sticks above the edge of the chine by about 1/16 inch. Should I plane the width of the strip down so it forms perfectly around the form or should I let it raise above the edge and just come as close to the form outline as I can?
