Strip: Deck Design Opinions Please *PIC*

This is partially a follow up to a previous, less detailed post on the deck design i'm working on for my first kayak build, a Hybrid Night Heron. Take a look at the images and let me know your thoughts. Am I making this more complicated than I should? Am I crazy for trying this? Where do you see me hitting problems? Any and all info would be greatly appreciated. I'm planning on using the rolling bevel method since there's so many curving pieces and small pinstrip size accents. Thoughts on that as well?

Thanks!
Damian
