I'm amazed that tiny battery can run a rule 500 for that long. I guess I like the idea as long as you carry a backup hand pump. After a recent near-shore mishap I may consider it. Pumping out is a bitch in rough seas and impossible in the surf zone. My admitted overconfidence got a quick reality check that day! (much needed)
