thanks for compliment.
The first month my skills were SAD...they got better each month....after 6 months...I was doing very good work. Luckily...I started on hull first. By the time I got to deck...I kinda knew what I was doing. It does look great from 20 fet....very good from 10 feet...and...well...closer than 6 feet...you see all the ...amateur mistakes. Don't care. LOVED the process. Very Glad I experimented on design and veneers. Wanted to grab the WHOLE experience since I knew I wood be a ONE kayak guy. Advice: make a lot of prototype boards...and practice before doing it on boat. also: anything goes...really...jus t keep it symetrical. good Luck...can't wait for your pics. Daan, BE INSPIRED...what do you have to lose. Plus...I was retired and had a super supportive wife who got into it with me.
