Windsor Plywood in Edmonton has...

In Response To: Other: Trip Report: America- land of cheap tools (Malcolm Schweizer)

...any kind of wood that is sold commercially, including iron wood, zebra wood, oak of all kinds, cedar from around the world, pine from around the world, spruce, fir, you name it...even woods I didn't know existed. I love going in that store but lament that I can't buy each kind of wood. Dunno what I'd do with the zebra wood but the piece is nice for a small table top, just horribly expensive. I certainly know how you feel, Malcolm...I smell wood too, and I don't care who is looking. As for tools, I have everything I need so I walk past the tool aisle straight to the wood section.
