Skin-on-Frame: lightweight SOF

Ok as of about and hour ago, testing is complete for my light weight SOF, now just have to cough up the cash for all the carbon fiber sleeve.

Had like everyone else has had a problem making long stright, or nearly straight tubes. But modified an old method of mine for making dinghy mast steps and that worked great. I can now hand lay any length straight tube I want. Just pulled my 6' test sample off the mandrel with light fingertip pressure, no effort at all to remove it. Cool :)

The curved tubes for the frames were actually much easier, though much more time consuming. Also have a new method for making a composite coaming.

Should be ordering the materials tomorrow so will be able to show completed parts fairly soon I hope.
