Well...you can always mock up a seat, put the frame out on the grass and sit in it and see. I've even made a seat that sat on the ground but at about the right height as it would if I were sitting in the boat and then got in (sorta) and checked the dimmensions. It's actually pretty easy to get in with no skin :)
