Another one. Sam trying out Mckinley's first kayak, the blue bomber. He was 2 then. The key is to just start them off easy, just messing around in calm water. When Sadie started out she went across a pond a few times, then decided she was done and stepped out of the kayak into 4' to 5' of water. She went under and popped right back up with a big smile on her face. She has been a water girl ever since. I think this pic is the only time they haven't been wearing pfds while in kayaks. Now they always have pfds, and immersion gear.
