: Just occurred to me that if I take the time and line up the
: spreader in the center of the strongback, I have a fixed
: reference point to measure off of! Might take 5 mintues to
: locate it proper but once it is locked in place it's not going
: to move.

That's a pretty good idea, lots easier to measure from a fixed 90 degree reference point to the frames on each side to insure that everything is straight :)

Of course you could just set the biggest frame in the middle like this and then judge the straightness of the other frames off the first one, and this frame would add height that the spreader bar won't.

Need a nice computerized lazer level .
