Jackson WW kayaks use "happy feet" foot braces in their boats. They're basically inflatable bags like float bags that are used for foot braces. Most paddlers I know who paddle All Stars don't use them.

The difference to me is... WW kayaks are for coasting, Sea Kayaks are for paddling. You need to have something sturdy to push against if you're going to get any power in your stroke or be able to paddle any distance at all. I'd go foot pegs. Just get a pair of Sea Dogs. They're light, inexpensive, tough, and you can adjust them on the fly without leaving the kayak. http://www.duckworksbbs.com/hardware/canoe-kayak/footbrace/index.htm
