Doug,
It just so happens that I finished re-working a Nikumi 19. What I did for foot bracing was use some left over strip panel, left over from a bulkhead panel, I cut two triangle pieces and glued them to the station form. The station form was located about 3.5 inches from my foot position. I then used mini cell foam blocks glued to the foot boards. This gives good support when I roll and the middle gives me room to stretch out when I need to. I should take more pictures. Like they say a picture is worth a thousand words.
