I added an extra layer of glass on the inside of the deck before I cut mine out to stiffen them and the deck in that area too. You might be able to heat them and get the shape back. I'd do a little at a time, the epoxy will soften with heat and once cooled returns to it's original strength. Will take I'd bet considerable force on the covers once heated to have much effect, so some whay to clamp them will have to be figured out.
