: I have been looking at one ocean and their site makes the process
: look... well not easy but possible. Was that your first strip
: build? How long did it take you to complete? I really like the
: look of the cape storm and I think I may make that one.

It was my first strip build. Now I need to figure out what I want to build next, its an addiction once you start...lol. I received the plans in September of 2009, started the process of actually building it in October and finished it June 16th. Launched it on the 19th and was very impressed by the design. I had done alot of research before buying plans, one of my friends built a couple kayaks using Ted Moore's book. Reading everything that is on the one ocean website confirmed that it was the boat I wanted to go with. He has a bunch of different designs to choose from, the Storm seemed to fit me the best. It is very stable on the water and paddles like a dream. Between the one ocean website, book and builder pages you will have a the guidence you will need. And if you have any questions the guys on this forum are very knowledgable.
