Bill,
I received my glass from CLC. After the 2nd coat, the finish is smooth to the touch...but the "pattern" of weave clearly shows thru. It's not white ...or gray...so I'm pretty sure I have the glass thoroughly coated without any dry spots. Guess I just wasn't expecting to see the weave pattern AT ALL. Just want to know if Seeing The Weave a little is the standard look?
MORE concerned about overlapping. When I do the deck and overlap onto the hull...worried about leaving a pretty discernible line where the deck glass overlaps the hull glass. Guess I can sand with around 80 grit to get it smooth to touch ...before I varnish....right?
