I too don't much like full length strips, it's like handling wet spagetti noodles. A few when you first start stripping makes things easier but they can be scarfed too. I love cedar but I also have some really nice clear cypress in the basement waiting for the next boat, it's also very pretty. Last year for some reason around here cedar was impossible to find, and I found this really nice cypress, so brought it home instead. It's all good.
