: Good Morning,

: thanks for the tips (Pun intended) I did onother experiment last
: night with tite bond wood glue.

: I glued a piece of white oak to the ceadar blank im playing with.
: this morning I checked it and to my surprise the loom was going
: to break before the glue joint does. COOL!!!

: I must have not had a good enough surface when I tried epoxy as the
: glue joint snapped without too much effort.

: thanks again

White oak can sometimes give you fits with epoxy. It's a very oily wood and used without pre-treatment the oils can cause a failure with the epoxy. Scrubbing the surface to be glued with a scotchbrite pad and acetone will remove the oils and once dry will glue just fine.
