: After a long drive back from Monterey and a day of skiing it was
: time to kayak again. I went out on the annual New Years Great
: Salt Lake paddle. All of the sea kayakers in Utah are invited
: but only about ½ of them show up. That is O.K. because 4 is a
: good number for paddling. We ran into brine shrimp fisherman in
: the middle of the lake. If you are one of those guys that paid
: $3 for See Monkeys from and add in Boys Life you can scoop about
: $500 dollars worth into your water bottle on this lake.

Our paddling club also went out today, minus me, had to work. Lake Columbia, WI, the fog bowl, air temps around 10 degrees and lake temps around 70 degrees makes for lots of fog. It's a power plant cooling pond that's about a mile long.
