: Happily it's starting to look like an actual canoe! Took Dave's
: advice of flipping the boat upside down and chine placement
: really went quite well. I used bungee cords wrapped around the
: hull to hold them in place while getting them into position. I
: marked the chine positions on one side, then removed the
: sections and mirrored them to the other side.

: The boat is all together now with zip ties. Unfortunately now with
: the chines in place the bow has dropped a little too far, taking
: away my rocker. When I decided where to put sections I left a
: large gap between the first two so one wouldn't interfere with
: the bow paddler. This gap leaves a lot of space for flex though
: and I think I better put in another section in between to
: (hopefully) stiffen things up. Or maybe I need to work on the
: chine placement at the front section so they aren't pulling it
: down so much. Feeling good about it though.

How are you planning on attaching the stringers to the frames?
