I want to lower my sheerline one strip...but that strip is already glued to the strip below it.

That means i have to separate the two glued strips...which will of course be re-glued together with sheer tape later.

Will that leave a long nasty visible scar? Maybe i oughta leave it alone.
I could heat gun and razor it and try not to cut the wood...

The reason i want to lower it is because with the sheer line where it is..the next strip i attach will be pretty close to the hard chine corners of the deck..within 1/4"-1/2". Just wanted more room to play with.
