I would pass on that one in favor of the porter cable dual action sander at Lowes. it's cheaper..and to me , dual action means much better.
I do like that anti gouge feature though, a lot...in fact, i would'nt mind having that sander in place of a big grinder which does not have anti gouge for
smoothing out bad areas.

: Looking for a new variable speed ROS to supplement my DeWalt single speed.
: Anybody know about the low profile Porter Cable (see link)? Specifically:
: 1. PSA or hook and loop? (You can have either one.)
: 2. Soft pad available? (Showstopper if no pad available.)
: 3. Overall quality, ease of use, ergonomics, etc.?
: 4. Other models/mfrs. I should be looking at?
