If you have to do end pours add small amounts in half inch layers. They will go off quickly enough. A large volume of epoxy going off will generate a lot of heat, with possibly unwanted results.

I have seen pictures on this forum where the end of the boat is stood in a bucket of cold water too draw off heat. I'm not too sure if this is actually successful as the epoxy heats with a chemical reaction and the wood does not conduct heat well anyway.
