: Has anyone used really light weight fiberglass to get a smooth finish? I've
: found a supplier with excellent prices, but I've not gotten the cloth yet
: and won't recommend them until I have a chance to see what I've bought.
: But they also have some glass that's really light in their catalog.
: Thought that this stuff (some as light as 1/2 ounce per yard) and very
: fine weaves, might make for really easy finish work on our projects.
: Anyone tried this? Is it worth the effort?

Used to use it in Model Aeroplanes. Be careful as it tends to float.
Robin.
