Yes, and it's simple to make and it's watertight. It's just like a drybag for
the deck.

I've since added a second snap-on strap perpendicular to the first, unlike the
attached pic below, to insure that the "bag" can't collapse no matter the
amount of water that lands on the aftdeck. Not that the single strap caused
any issues.

Instructions at the link below. I'm not sure how this translates to a sewn and coated nylon skin.
With PVC, all that's needed is vinyl cement.

One test is worth 10,000 opinions :)
