Yeah, it has an Inuit name but I haven't a clue what it is. I'm semi-lingual(I haven't mastered english yet) Someone on the QUSA forum might know, I think I saw a drawing there with all the names of the parts and equipment in Greenlandic, there.

I'm not sure if the Aleut throwing board is called an atlatl. I think an atlatl has to have flex which most marine throwing boards don't have to the same degree. Even some land-based dart throwers are called throwing boards if they don't need flex.
Mind you, it depends on location and language.
