Thanks Bill!

I am in Janesville WI, where in Northern IL are you? I am going to build a great auk and was hoping to find some white cedar for accent strips.
My son and I are building a CLC Mill Creek Hybrid. I ordered the kit from CLC for the Mill Creek. The white cedar was what I need for the immediate projects. But if this goes well I would like to build a small wherry type sailboat and for that I will need mrine plywood. I thought I would throw it out there as long as I was posting. Thanks for your help, I will check them out tomorrow.

Nate

Hi Nate,

: Where in WI or IL? I'm in Northern IL.

: White cedar is tricky to find in the midwest, it's available but it's awfully
: rough. Clear stock is hard to find. Unusual to be looking for marine ply
: and white cedar, what are you building? Cheapest and best is L.L. Johnson
: in South Bend, Indiana. Might look at www.woodfinder.com or look at the
: references at the GlenL site (boat kits).
