I should add that the CLC outriggers add huge stability. probably more than you need for a small rig.

With a large rig they have a fine enough keel V that they will punch through chop rather than bounce over it. I found them about perfect for the use I put them to. Perhaps a bit too large all around for a small rig.

The point made earlier in this thread about the rudder is very valid. Also the rudder mounting points may need to be beefed up. I ripped out the rudder pintles on my first outing and had to reinforce them.

I am using a very powerful rig though.
