Thanks for your concern...wise advice, but I had the minimally invasive kind: just a 3 inch incision...very cool. A week later I went the day with no pain pills and walked both morning and night. Have to be careful about lifting stuff for a bit. Didn't get to the kayak today but have a guy coming tomorrow to help/do what I tell him to do.
Will update with pix...even pix of my repaired valve, if you like that stuff. Some don't.
