Strip: deck-to-sheer prep/bond

I'm about to finish the underside of the deck for my CLC Shearwater 16 Hybrid build. Apparently, the fiberglassing will include where the deck makes contact with the sheer clamp -- correct?

And, there appears to be no fillet or taping inside, where the deck meets the sheer clamp (though there is fillet and tape where the deck meets the bulkheads). There is no need for fillet/tape at sheer, even inside the cockpit?

Finally, an annoyance to solve: most of my hot glue came off with blows to the temporary bulkheads. But, some plastic scraper action was was needed, which still left some residue. How can I get that ALL off without damaging the epoxy?

Thank you
