When I wanted to remove some glass I just couldn't see myself sanding through all that mess. I actually got the glass and epoxy hot enough that I couldn't touch it and it didn't scorch the wood. It peeled off real easy. Then just a quick sand on the epoxy after it cools and you're ready to put the new glass on.
