Hi Larry, I don't have very many pics of the gas pedals but that kayak is in the shop so I can take as many pics as you need, just let me know.

The bottom portion is fixed and only the top portion pivots so you have solid bracing. there is a small bungee attached to the top portion to help self-center the rudder when the pedals are released. In this kayak I use a link to hook up the pair of pedals that will be controlling the rudder, or even all of them can be hooked up at the same time.

Here is one pic that shows the top portion when the pedals aren't hooked up to the rudder lines. The bungee pulls the top forward out of the way and the bottom portion offers solid bracing.
